The color lithograph from a series of four depicting four times of the day, signed and dated 1899 in the plate, published by Panneau Decoratif, F. Champenois, Paris, printed in twelve colors and embossed with metallic gold.
These vertical format compositions with female allegories of seasons and times of day etc were among Mucha's most popular designs.
This lithograph was included in the Hallmark Exhibition of 2005.
Image size 40.25 x 14, sheet measures 44.5 x 18, the frame is 52.5 x 26 inches.
Very good to fine condition, professionally laid to a sheet of archival paper, no damage or repair, very clean, no stain, excellent color, some trimming, the text 'ECLAT DU JOUR' is not present below the image.
