The Alphonse Mucha offset lithograph illustration for L'Illustration Christmas issue, Noel 1896-1897, signed in the image lower right and dated 1897, lettered Ducourtioux & Huillard lower left; purchased from the estate of tobacco heiress Doris Duke, exhibited Hallmark 2005.
Sight size of 15.25 x 11.25 in a 23.25 x 19.25 inch frame.
Apparently the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears, some scattered light soiling. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
