Alphonse Maria Mucha (1860-1939)
Au Quartier Latin

The illustrator's design specially for this charity issue of Au Quartier Latin annotated 'Think of the starving, Sybarite! For the sake of the poor and suffering that the Latin Quarter shelters, buy this album.' The female figure on the cover personifies the Latin Quarter in Paris, wearing a winged crown made up of the walls of the district. The people of the district rally around her in a call to help rescue the destitute people sheltered within her hands.'

Sight size 17 x 12, the frame measures 26 x 21 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, clean, intact, no visible stain beyond light toning or surface soiling, no damage, repair, punctures, minor extreme edge tears visible. This has not been examined outside the frame.
