233: A RISQUE LADY 19TH C. CARVED MEERSCHAUM SMOKING PIPE

The elaborate carving of a woman in Victorian garb leaning to one side while hiking her skirt a bit to expose some legs, she leans on an ornate pedestal with carved openwork rococo scrolls, curving amber stem.
The meerschaum portion measures approx 5 x 4 inches.
Good to very good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs could be found, there is an issue of unknown whitish surface discoloration as seen in the images.
