33: A HANDSOME 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRONZE MOUNTED DAY BED

The Lit du Coin having head and foot rails with rolling pin molded crests flanked by step molded ends having gilt metal mounts of reeded torch with spiral stylized flames, joined by thick highly figured rails with crotch mahogany veneers and adorned with scrolling spandrels, plinth base having conforming gilt metal mount and rosette roundel, the whole raised on molded feet. Fitted with mattress and a pair of bolsters upholstered in green.
Measures 41.5 x 40 x 79.5 inches.
Very good clean odor free condition, free from damage, repair stain or heavy wear.
