Arched crest rail with three splats of openwork elliptical arches headed by rosettes on waisted stiles with conforming capitals, above down sweeping supports centering a trapezoidal seat raised on square tapered legs joined by a box stretcher. Ebonized frame with painted singular sprays of flowers, yellow damask fabric of a chinoiserie scene of figures, animals and blossoming trees.
Measures 34 x 20.5 x 20 inches.
Good condition, noting considerable paint wear and two replaced glue blocks.
