24: A HEAVILY CARVED BLACK FOREST MIRROR WITH BIRDS C. 1900

The trefoil mullion encompassed by a deeply carved and reticulated frame having two long tailed birds amongst spruce tree tops. continuing to oak leaves, foliate, and a mushroom lower pendent.
Measures 30.5 x 18 inches.
There is a break on the proper right side that includes three connected branches. They have broken off in one piece and glued back, the break and repair are invisible except from the back side. There are no other repairs, one large leaf lobe or petal is broken off, and there are several scattered edge and tip chips throughout that have darkened with age and are not noticeable.
