The scagliola technique originated in Italy in the 17th-century and served as a substitute for the more difficult and expensive pietra dura and mosaic inlay decorative techniques.
Measures 11 x 14 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges.
