242: KPM PORCELAIN URN SANS ITS COVER WITH DRESDEN BASKET

The baluster form with central fluted bulb bearing enameled swag of flowers and flanked by projecting busts of pretty young maidens, rising to a columnar neck painted with sprays flowers and terminating in an enameled neck of guilloche design with gilt highlights, the whole supported on a circular gilt socle foot ; together with an elliptical reticulated basket flanked by intertwining branch handles, the body with applied polychromed flowering foliate.
Basket measures 4.5 x 12.5 inches The urn is 16 x 13 inches.
Very good condition, noting the absence of the urn cover and small nicks to a few flower petals.
