The circa 1900 'self-framed' lithographed tin sign for Southern Railway System pictures a train crossing 'High Bridge Kentucky River.' the sign is displayed in an antique walnut frame and retains the original Queen and Crescent Route label verso. The Queen and Crescent Route was originally a cooperative railroad route later retained solely by Southern Railway beginning in 1926.
Sight size is 25.5 x 37.75 frame size is 29.5 x 42 inches.
Scattered oxidation, good condition.
