124: SGT. 1ST CLASS JOSEPH E. SIMMS, AAF, UNIFORM, DOG TAGS

Sergeant First Class Joseph E. Simms, HQ & HQ Squadron, 14th USAAF, Pacific Theatre. Uniform consisting of service coat with all insignia, four place ribbon bars, three overseas bars, discharge insignia, dog tag with chain, garrison cap. Joseph Simms entered active duty on 28 August 1941. On 23 March 1944 he was assigned to the China, Burma, India Theatre as an Administrative NCO. He saw action in the Pacific while assigned to the 14 AAF. He was discharged on 11 December 1945. He earned the Good Conduct Medal among others.
