File folder containing: Service Record, Equipment issued, Awards of two Air Medals, Assignment Orders, Assorted other military records. Packet containing: Pair Gold AF enlisted collar brass, Silver US enlisted collar brass, AF Vietnam Service Medal Grouping on issue card. Photo album with Portrait photo, 167 black and white photos showing B-6 Bombers, Crew members, nose art, captured German aircraft; Foreign currency. Air Medal with one OLC, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, ETO Campaign with five stars, WWII Victory Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation, Air Crew wings, Gunner wings. Sgt. Arnold M. Snowden, 37th Bombardment Sqdn., 17th Bombardment Group, 9th AAF, European Campaign. Arnold enlisted on 7 Dec 1942, and entered active duty on 24 Feb 1943. Following training as a Radio/Gunner, he was transferred to Barksdale Field, La., with assignment to the 331st AAF Base Unit as a Sgt. He arrived in Europe on 31 Jan 1945. He experienced numerous bombing missions, earning two Air Medals. He was discharged on 30 December 1945.
