The original watercolor and gouache painting on artist's illustration board depicts the classic streamliner Colorado Eagle on the Missouri Pacific Lines Rio Grande during or shortly after World War II. This rare image shows the designation of both Missouri Pacific and Rio Grande, this and the 7002 on that same line were the only two to share the designation.
Measures 26 x 40 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of major scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up. There are some areas of discoloration in the margins and along some edges from glue and mat burn.
