44: UNIFORM OF BRIG GEN WHISNER, ADVISOR TO CHANG KAI SHEK

Brigadier General Emons Bertram Whisner, CG, 23rd Replacement Depot, Hawaii, Pacific Theatre. General Whisner served in the WWI in Europe. Remaining in the service, he rose through the ranks and at the rand of Colonel, he was assigned as Executive Officer MAAG, Indo-China where he served as an advisor to Generallissimo Chang Kai Shek. He retired from active military duty as a Brigadier General on 31 July 1953. Among others his decoration consisted of the Legion of Merit w/OL and Bronze Star Medal. Uniform and car sign.
