577: A MONO M5A OUTBOARD MOTOR, EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION

The 4 horse power Model M5-A made in the period when the company was owned by Mono Manufacturing in Springfield, Missouri. Initially founded in the 1940s by John Lauson, this motor was made in Springfield in the 1960s after the company changed hands.
Measures 38 x 8 x 25.75 inches.
Very good original condition, noting a repair to the frame near the tiller. All original decals, pull rope, rubber handle, paper gasket with fuel mix instructions on gas tank cap and other original characteristics very rare to find.
