586: A FOLK ART DIORAMA WITH CARVED FOREST SCENE AND SNIPE

The arched portico opens to a sky blue diorama in pine cabinet, the figure of a woodcock or snipe among leaves fauna and log with fungi all carved from wood, including the leaves with painted highlights. Interesting overall presentation as if modeled after a 1930s radio.
Measures 11.5 x 11.25 x 5 inches.
Very good condition, noting a very few scattered blemishes probably remedied by bottled scratch remover finish treatment.
