The 19th century oval box with lapped construction, copper tacks, old blue milk paint, incised inscription of S H 1868 on the lid, ink attribution on the base.
Measures 1.25 x 2.5 x 1.75 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges.
