261: A RARE C.W. PARKER ANIMATED BOAR WITH RIDER TARGET

The counterpart to Parker's animated boar with backward facing rider, this target retains old paint which is rare for Parker targets. The rider with top hat and integral cast legs is jointed at the waist. When struck, he drops back and then is restored by spring action. This rare target has its original mounting bracket for use on a conveyor-type system in a gallery. Signed 'Manufactured by CW Parker Abilene Kansas' (Part No.) 6, illustrated in Parker's Catalog of Shooting Galleries, Gallery No. 4 on page 4 and Gallery No. 13 on page 9.

Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear, very good dry old surface with old park paint.
