73: GIRAFFE AND GOOSE SHOOTING GALLERY TARGETS CIRCA 1900

Three early 20th century figural cast iron shooting gallery targets: two different goose figures and the figure of a giraffe, simple one-piece castings known as knock-down targets made by H.C. Evans, Chicago, IL. The two in old red paint were found together and most likely came from the same gallery. The geese are illustrated on page 78 of an Evans catalog, part number 121. the giraffe is attributed to Evans as well.

Pictured on page 93 of Sellers' book (Figure 6.34).
Measure 5 and 5.5 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, old painted surface throughout.
