167: A COLORFUL ART DECO INFLUENCE FIGURAL ELEPHANT MARQUEE

The whimsical design of an elephant with circus blanket, bright colors with black outline, lettered KING AMUSEMENT CO in the casting, this being the front or marquee only from a game or other King Amusement device.

Pictured on page 112 of Sellers' book (Figure 8.10).
Displayed on custom iron stand. This is the only example the Tuckers have seen or heard of in their 30 years of collecting.
Measures 17.5 x 20.25 inches, excluding stand.
Very good original condition as shown, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges.
