The tower of circular bentwood pantry boxes comprised of five in original paint and one natural example with long swallow tail lap finger construction: the smallest in old medium green paint with dry surface apparently over blue milk paint and with straight seam construction along with lettering of SILAS FROST; an example in unusual red milk paint with straight seam and iron tacks; a nice blue example with iron tack and wood peg construction; a nice box in natural finish with finely carved three-finger swallow tail lapped fingers with beveled edges, a good straight seam example in old red stain constructed with domed head and other iron tacks, and finally the largest being a straight seam example with tapered finger on the lid and very light blue green milk paint.
Measures 2.75 x 6.75 to 5.75 x 11 inches.
Very good condition throughout. There are no issues of damage, repair or heavy wear, with the exception of the natural example where some splits and the effects of age are seen.
