56: A WILLIAM MANGELS RUNNING LION SHOOTING GALLERY TARGET

The classic form of a lion in full stride while maintaining a folky snarl is illustrated in numerous Mangels catalogs, including on page 3 of Mangels catalog 25 (gallery 60) and earlier catalogs. The patina is also classic for shooting gallery targets with the patterning of starburst freckles in the old, dry park paint surface.
Displayed on custom iron stand.
