84: A RARE VARIANT CAST IRON OWL SPINNER GALLERY TARGET

The only known example of its type, the head, face and body display more creative folk art qualities than known examples of which there are many since the owl was a favorite of manufacturers, thick heavy lollipop drop would make it almost impossible to spin or possibly move when struck.

Pictured on page 98 of Sellers' book (Figure 6.47).
Displayed on custom iron stand. This is the only example the Tuckers have seen or heard of in their 30 years of collecting.
Measures 8 x 2.5 inches, excluding stand.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, old surface as shown.
