175: EARLY 20TH CENTURY IRON OWL SHOOTING GALLERY TARGETS

1. Scarce example of a cast iron owl knockdown target by an unknown maker, very few of this particular casting with its recessed eyes and pronounced ears are known to exist.

Pictured on page 96 of Sellers' book (Figure 6.44).

2. A simple iron owl knock down figure from the same period.
Measures 3.5 x 2.25 and 3.75 x 2.5 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage or repair, example 1 with good old weathered grayish white paint.
