An oak and fruitwood case with replaced turned wood finials, Corinthian columns on either side of the front glass, sheet iron dial with original paint and applied brass allegories at the spandrels, the top of dial with a rolling animated scene of soldiers moving in and out of a painted castle. Two original period weights, the pendulum hidden behind the sliding back board with ormolu drape and urn cut-out. Measures 50 x 16.5 x 9 inches.
