320: EUROPEAN SHEET IRON SHOOTING GALLERY TARGET BACK PLATE

Believed to depict a drummer girl missing drum sticks and drum and other apparatus that would have been activated by striking the small bullseye just above her left shoulder. Similar to a target illustrated in the bi-lingual English/Spanish trade catalog for Shooting Galleries by an unknown manufacturer, item number 123 (See lot 289). This is the only example the Tuckers have seen or heard of in their 30 years of collecting.

The condition is as shown, parts of the mechanism remain.
