205: A GOOD WATCHMAKER'S TRADE SIGN WITH FIGURAL SPECTACLES

The two-sided pocket watch trade sign with fancy coined edge iron frame advertising JEWELRY, CLOCKS, WATCHES at 3,6 and 9 cast with tabs for suspending a pair of cast iron eye glasses; the detailed sheet metal dial both sides of the watch with original hand painted Roman numeral chapter ring and hands in black enamel on white ground.































The cast iron model of spectacles suspended from the frame retains its original paint and surface with good patina.
Measures 22 x 12 x 2.75 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, very good original paint throughout, wear and oxidation as shown.
