124: AN UNUSUAL RUNNING STAG 19TH C. COPPER WEATHER VANE

The running stag variation seen less often than leaping stag models, the full-bodied figure with seams at the legs and neck, stamped antlers with iron wire reinforcement. This example has, by some, been attributed to J.W. Fiske & Co.
Measures 26 x 33.25 x 3 inches.
Good to very good condition, original surface, some splits as shown including a fracture in one antler, bullet holes and dings.
