212: AN 18TH C. FAN BACK WINDSOR CHAIR IN OLD GREEN PAINT

The unusual New England fan back variation with shaped ash crest upon spindle back and outside posts carved with integral square block joining a delicate arm having unusual knuckle supported by faux bamboo turned supports set in the nicely shaped carved plank seat, turned legs; all in very good old, perhaps original, dark green paint with curdled, somewhat crusty, surface.
Measures 40 x 19 x 17.5 inches with a seat height of 18 inches and arm heights of 26 inches each.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage, replacement or repair, light wear.
