209: A GOOD RED, WHITE AND BLUE BARBER POLE WITH GOLD ACORNS

A fine 19th century example with slightly swollen mid-section, crisp turnings, good alligatored paint of the period, good period gilding on the nicely turned acorns, classic overall presentation with nice patina.
Measures 36 x 3.5 inches.
Very good condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear in some areas.
