197: AN EXCEPTIONAL EARLY WIGWAG CHURN IN OLD RED PAINT

The white pine trapezoidal form with original assembly and exceptional surface. The very strong original red paint has an amazing crusty surface with alligatoring and patina that could never be replicated. The Muellers purchased this with the understanding it was shaker in origin.
Measures 22 x 8.25 x 14.5 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, , one chip with the grain for the underside of the base visible only by turning the piece upside down.
