42: A VERY GOOD SET OF PAINT DECORATED 18C. WINDSOR CHAIRS

The rare true matching set of six 18th century bow back Windsor chairs in old green paint, obviously the original with original mustard pin stripe and flourish decoration on the top and edge of the smartly hewn saddle seat, also on each of the nine faux bamboo spindles, and this decoration is repeated on the faux bamboo turned legs. Each chair is of classic form with exceptional features like the graceful bent and ash wood back with beaded edge, finely sculpted seat at 16.5 inches in height, intact legs and stretchers; this sturdy set is of unimpeachable originality and surface.
Measures 35.5 x 21.5 x 15.5 inches.
Very good original condition throughout all, there are no issues of damage or repair, there is obvious genuine wear and very good patina.
