230: A 20TH C. FOLK ART WEATHER VANE WITH PAINTED FLAG

The tinker's nicely formed star with old alligatored paint surface atop a central rod displaying a gold (former mercury glass) lighting rod ball and painted sheet metal flag with thirteen stars and stripes, circa second quarter of the 20th century.
Measures 45 x 20 x 7 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair beyond some environmental issues, including bullet strikes, great alligatored surface overall.
