143: A SMALL 19TH CENTURY FIRKIN IN BRILLIANT BLUE PAINT

The thick wood staves bound in wood bands with finger laps, bentwood bail handle on wooden peg, great old blue milk paint in an interesting blue.
Measures 5 x 6 x 5.5 inches.
Good condition with signs of wear and use commensurate with age, missing nail, replaced copper nail, short band split, stave chip, no serious damage or repair.
