9733: SIGNED 1888 CRAZY QUILT AND RED, WHITE & BLUE COVERLET

The pieced, embroidered and appliqued crazy quilt in a varied range of patterns including fans, world flags, stars and more, stitches and motifs depicting birds, people and flowers, signed Miss Mollie Eckert and 'Finished August 1888.'

Plus a red, white and blue overshot coverlet with star and floral motif, unsigned.
Coverlet is 84 x 80 without fringe and quilt measures 67 x 76 inches.
Quilt is in good condition noting some tatters and losses especially to the delicate silk fabrics. Coverlet is very good condition.
