9652: A STATELY 19TH C. AMERICAN FANCY WALNUT BED & DRESSER

The bed with deeply carved walnut palmette on arched crown above two large oval drop panels with burl detail centered by a roundel, wide solid side rails and foot board with matching roundel and curved sides. Plus a similar walnut deep well dresser with white marble, the mirror topped by a deep carved palmette similar to that atop the bed, burl highlights and full columns under the lamp stands.
Bed measures 90.5 x 62 x 78.5, the dresser is 87 x 20.5 x 51.5 inches.
Very good condition, noting and old repaired split with the grain in headboard.
