The wire-bottom lantern with single guard, embossed lettering of D.&R.G.W.RR. on the smoke done and signed Adams & Westlake on the cap, short red globe.

Plus a wire-bottom lantern with double guard, embossed lettering of C.&N.W.R. on the smoke dome and signed CHICAGO NEWY.RY. on the cap, tall clear globe embossed Rayo No. 39.
Measures 10.5 x 7.25 and 9.75 x 7.25 inches, excluding the handles.
Very good condition, noting some oxidation, rusted through areas, minor losses on the smoke dome of the Chicago & New York lantern, refinished surface to both.
