The assemblage topped by dual outward facing death masks on a stilted platform atop a dome of slab work fitted to and the cover of a vessel with repeating circular ornaments at the rim and two circular handles with rings at two sides, all raised on a square stilted base. The work is signed on one side near the base.

An article from the November 15, 1981 Kansas City Star quotes the artist as saying, 'These works deal with emotion, death, archaeology, symbolism and history in the tradition of the macabre, yet with a light and humorous attitude not unlike Mexico's celebration for the Day of the Dead.'
Measures 30 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no actual damage or repair.
