86: A PRETTY FRENCH CHINA CASE CLOCK WITH JAPY FRERES MOVEMENT

A fine china case clock with hand painted decoration of flowers and cherubs - no decal or transfer - with gold scrolls and highlights. The dial is an unusual scroll cut and engraved filigree gold over brass or bronze and bears the remnants of a Philadelphia retailer's name. The brass movement is signed Japy Freres. Measures 10.75 x 10 x 5.5 inches.
