One Lucky S.O.B., The Archive of B-17 Pilot Lt. Bob Messersmith.

Lt. Bob Messersmith flew 32 successful bombing missions before being shot down over Germany in 1944. He was held at Stalag Luft 1, the internment camp for pilots operated by the German Luftwaffe. His archive is comprised of an amazing range of correspondence, letters to home, a POW roster, various artifacts such as a fragment from the plane he bailed from, uniforms, an outstanding A-2 jacket painted with 30 bombs, and much more - including the following: an unprecedented collection of 30 very rare bomb fuse tags assembled by Messersmith with each run and logged with date, destination and degree of German resistance in most cases.
Leather jacket is size 42 and the military jacket has a waist size of 32 and chest size of 38 inches.
