95: AN ALL ORIGINAL WATERBURY 'OXFORD' MIRROR SIDE PARLOR CLOCK

A really nice example of an all original walnut case mirror side parlor clock with gold metal Minerva head on top carved walnut crown, intact original finials, mirror sides behind gilt spelter cherub figures, the original glass tablet with gold tracery stenciling highlighted by hand painted enamels of red and green. Original untouched finish. time and strike eight day movement with alarm, original dial, nice brass 'slow fast' pendulum dated 1881. Case measures 24 x 16.25 x 5.25 inches.
Very good original condition noting sign of glue under the wood base of one cherub, the original dial with light wear and soiling as expected. Very good running condition. We cannot guarantee the running condition of timepieces post sale following movement and shipping.
