121: 'THE DENBY GIRL' 5c CIGAR ADVERTISING POSTER AND FRAME

The painted frame lettered 'The Charm of a Beautiful Girl - and a Good Cigar' houses a card stock placard with the image of an Edwardian maiden in circa 1905 fashion and titled as THE DENBY GIRL, with advertising for Charles Denby Five Cent Cigar H. Fendrich Maker, Evansville, Ind. Early 20th century.
Sight size measures 22 x 13.5 with a frame of 28.75 x 20 inches.
Very good condition, noting overall even toning and some scattered mild stain. The frame is a mystery as it has characteristics of being original but the paint and lettering are not typical of the period.
