The ink wash image on paper attributed to the Topeka artist, signed lower center and dated '09.
Portraits of women in this style were popular and widely produced by artists at all levels in the first few years of the 20th century. The most well-known were Harrison Fisher Charles Dana Gibson for whom the Gibson Girl was named.
Measures 7.5 x 6.75 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
