122: THE 1937 CROSLEY XERVAC ART DECO HAIR GROWTH MACHINE

According to an ad in the Pittsburgh Press from 1937, the 'Xervac has been successful in 95% of the test cases...' which seems relatively true. Despite the climate in which it came to the fore, this machine seems to have been effective. It was comprised of a helmet with flexible liner, an air hose and two compressors which generated pulses of suction which stimulated circulation. No word on why there are still bald people in the world.
Measures 31 x 20.5 x 13 inches.
Very good condition, noting breakdown of rubber components from age, the helmet liner and other portions are absent.
