A nice large box with rosewood and other veneers. An unusual two comb sublime harmonie Paillard long play music box mechanism, the 18-inch cylinder has double coil spring and a larger than usual spring wheel which allows it to play its eight tunes for up to one-half hour, far longer than the typical cylinder music box. The unusual features of this box include its sublime harmonie of two separate combs tuned alike or slightly different to compliment one another, allowing for higher volume without harshness, plus twice the spring driven capacity for much longer play, two rare features. Measures 11.5 x 38 x 16.25 inches.
Very good fully operational condition. The case is excellent without noticeable damage, repair or wear. Very clean and good.
