Sculptor Michael Naranjo spent his childhood assisting his mother Rose Naranjo, the well-known Santa Clara potter. Despite being completely blinded and losing much use of his right hand in the Viet Nam war, Naranjo has fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a sculptor.

This work is signed in the casting along the base and numbered 3 from an edition reported as being a total of 10 though this work appears to be 3/12. The base differs from confirmed examples, the edition number differs, the origin and period and artist's involvement with this piece is not known.
Measures approximately 14 x 34 inches.
Very good condition, the complete sheet, not laid down, no stain, damage or repair.
