704: A FINE, LARGE ANSONIA 'FLORIDA' CAST METAL MANTEL CLOCK

The massive cast metal mantle clock with black top over scenic panels on each side of the double-sunk porcelain enamel dial centered by an exposed escapement with two ruby jewels inside the chapter ring painted in Roman numerals fronting the time and strike movement, signed on the dial and the movement. The case is topped by a separate and unidentified spelter figural statue.
Measures 27 x 20.5 x 8 inches.
Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises. Small scattered chips in the finish of the clock case.
