The walnut field with an all-over design displaying offset rows of 'in and out' boteh, within an unusual green border of attractive benefit enclosing continuous stylized polychrome plants, the ivory guard borders enclosing continuous meandering vines linked to small flowering plants issuing pairs of leaves, wool pile on wool foundation, a rare and desirable antique rug.
Measures 130 x 53 inches.
Largely intact and good, complete ends and sides, good pile excepting two 3-inch patches in the outer guard border where foundation shows and tow old repairs also in the outer guard border. Otherwise very good condition free from other damage, repair, odor, or loss.
