The eight standing bears covered in worsted wool, each upon a turned wood base with vertical wood shaft, black shoe button eyes and black bead nose with chain, red felt tongue, original wood game ball, catalog number 3212, .

The first illustrated Steiff catalogue appeared in 1892, the legendary button-in-the-ear trademark was implemented in 1904. The absence of a button suggests these Skittles were made before 1904.
Measure 9 inches each.
Very good condition, noting some scattered tatters and wear commensurate for age and use.
