404: A PERSIAN LILLIHAN HAND MADE RUG

The Hamadan district rug with red field having a central blue and ivory lobed central cartouche floral medallion supported by angular vines issuing flower heads and leaves, plus ivory flowering vine spandrels, all within a blue border enclosing continuous flower heads linked by vines, wool pile on cotton foundation, circa 1930s.
Measures 52 x 31 inches.
Very fine condition. Clean and odor free with intact edges, and ends, no damage, repair or stain, good even pile overall. there are no low spots.
